These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by G and F Tiling. By requesting a quote, booking work or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must inform us before any work begins.
2. Estimates and Quotes
a. All estimates are provided free of charge.
b. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
c. Any changes to the scope of work after the estimate may result in additional charges.
d. Measurements, material quantities and recommendations are given in good faith. Final pricing may vary if unforeseen issues arise.
3. Booking and Scheduling
a. Work will be scheduled only after confirmation from the customer.
b. Appointment dates are given in good faith and may change if delays occur due to previous projects, supply issues or factors outside our control.
c. Customers will be informed of any changes as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Customer Responsibilities
a. Customers must ensure the work area is accessible, safe and free from obstructions.
b. Any required permissions, such as landlord consent or building approvals, must be arranged by the customer.
c. Customers must inform us of any known structural issues, plumbing concerns or hidden defects before work begins.
5. Materials
a. G and F Tiling uses high quality materials suitable for the job unless the customer supplies their own.
b. If materials are customer supplied, G and F Tiling is not responsible for defects, delays or failures caused by those materials.
c. All materials remain the property of G and F Tiling until full payment is received.
6. Workmanship
a. We provide professional workmanship backed by over 20 years of experience.
b. All work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
c. Minor variations in tile shade, texture or pattern should be expected and are not considered faults.
7. Payment Terms
a. Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
b. Deposits may be required for large or custom projects.
c. Late payments may incur additional charges to cover administrative costs.
d. Failure to pay may result in legal action and suspension of future services.
8. Cancellations
a. Customers must provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.
b. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a call out or cancellation fee.
9. Liability
a. G and F Tiling is not liable for pre existing issues such as structural defects, leaks or damaged surfaces that are discovered during work.
b. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance or external factors beyond our control.
c. While we take every precaution to protect surrounding areas, we are not responsible for minor cosmetic marks or dust caused during normal trade activities.
10. Guarantees
a. We offer a workmanship guarantee, the length of which will be stated on your invoice or provided on request.
b. Guarantees do not cover natural wear and tear, improper use, poor maintenance or damage caused by third parties.
11. Use of Website
a. All content on the G and F Tiling website is for general information only.
b. We may update or change website content without notice.
c. Images are for illustrative purposes and may not represent completed work exactly.
12. Privacy
a. Any personal information, including contact details, is handled confidentially.
b. Information is used only for communication, estimates and providing services.
c. We do not share customer details with third parties unless required by law.
